Cannes City-Centre is a great choice for travellers interested in luxury-brand shopping and relaxation. This project didn’t pass the study phase. It involved the renovation of most of the rooms and bathrooms, creating a presidential suite and redesigning communal spaces such as the Dinard gallery, the Van Cleef & Arpel gallery and the elevators room.
The classical style of the hotel was to be renewed. For the bathrooms, Shirine Zirak suggested elegant and robust materials such as Portor marble with yellow gold veins, Calacatta Ora marble and glass mosaic. Textured off-white paint and golden bronze were proposed for the bedroom walls. In addition to this, folding screens made of aged mirrors with bronze framing and black lacquer furniture were to create a classical yet contemporary, refined, elegant and warm atmosphere.
