These two chalets, linked through their basement, set the standard for luxury housing in the mountains. They were conceived to provide the highest level of comfort (personalized rooms for each family member, offices, ballroom, home cinema, gym, hammam , swimming pool,..). With construction square meterage reaching a total of 7,000 m2 over two-hectare grounds, it’s the biggest project executed in Europe for a private client. Shirine Zirak was in charge of both the architecture and the interior design for this project. She set to highlight the contrast between the traditional aspect of a rustic chalet and the elegance and refinement of a revisited classic style for the interior. With a play on natural lighting, she combined modernity and originality. She also brought refinement to the volumes through perspectives and colours by using innovative technologies like holograms, a unique acoustic atmosphere and exceptional materials (Córdoba leather, marble and gold leaf). Shirine Zirak’s aim was to tailor the project to her client’s mindset and create the perfect space for him and his family.
