KARL LAGERFELD & SHIRINE ZIRAK

Chanel Paris

Restructuring and renovation of the creative studio of Karl Lagerfeld, Coco Chanel and the offices of the headquarter of Chanel Mode, located in the heart of the legendary building at 31 rue Cambon in Paris.
A luxurious office space that embodies the essence of one of the most iconic French fashion houses, Chanel, and the creative spirit of Karl Lagerfeld’s studio. This project captures the French “Art de Vivre,” blending historical references with contemporary design. Modern architectural codes are reinterpreted with sleek lines and raw materials that have been elevated to a new level of sophistication.
For this project, from the ceiling to the floor, each material, piece of furniture and decoration was custom.
The bay windows and their blinds, inspired by 18th-century wooden shutters, echo the pleated details of haute couture. The metal flooring is arranged in a pattern reminiscent of Versailles parquet. The space feels like a jewel box, crafted with noble materials such as graphic marble, organdy, metal, and mirrors. The interplay of reflective surfaces—organdy-lined mirrors and shimmering materials—creates a dreamlike, ethereal atmosphere.
This exceptional space is further adorned by pieces created by the great French designer Martin Szekely.
Some works of the great French designer, Martin Szekely, come to adorn this exceptional place.
This office space masterfully integrates fashion design, architecture, and interior design to form a multidisciplinary environment that harmonizes perfectly with Chanel’s identity.
