












A reference when it comes to international luxury hotels, the Metropole Palace ranked amongst the “World’s Best Hotels” in 2010 and is part of the “Leading Hotels of the World”.
This 8,000 square meter hotel with 125 rooms and suites, is situated right in the heart of Monte-Carlo and benefits from an exceptional location within the Golden Square.
In 2001, as project director for Jacque Garcia, Shirine Zirak handled the restructuring and renovation of all the common areas and room, an assignment combining architecture, interior design, decoration and landscaping. The whole construction work lasted more than two yearsand the hotel was inaugurated in 2004.
She fully revised the distribution of various spaces and tackled the renovation of the restaurant, bar, reception, lobby, spa, various living rooms, elevators, rooms, suites, bathrooms, dressing rooms, facades, balconies, terraces, green areas including the ones surrounding the hotel.
From 2007 to 2010, Shirine Zirak’s agency was task with midrange renovations for several parts of the hotel. From 2020 to 2023, her agency she was tasked again with the complete renovation of parts of the hotel under the overall direction of Jacque Garcia. This more recent mission had her renovate rooms, suites, hallways, the hotel’s main façade, the gastronomic restaurant Les Ambassadeurs and its terrace extension, the somking bar and its terrace, the private dining room and its terrace, the Méditerranée living room, the kitchen and VIP kitchen, the elevators…
The two-Michelin star restaurant by Joel Robuchon was part of this renovation. It is now called Les Ambassadeurs and handled by chef Christophe Cussac.
