Boutique Jay Ahr, Paris Louvre

This showroom in the heart of Paris and near the Louvre belongs to a French fashion designer favoured by Parisian ‘hit-girls’.
Shirine Zirak designed this boutique in a classic style worthy of Marie Antoinette. It opens on several elegant spaces where dresses, cosmetics and precious objects are exhibited. The carefully carved mouldings on the walls, spreading from floor to ceiling, conceal many secrets cupboards.
Every piece of furniture was custom-made, including the notable white marble consoles engraved Jay Ahr placed at the centre of the lounges.
The modernized classical style shows through the use of noble materials such as marble, patina, stucco, juxtaposed with more raw materials such as wood, metal, glass. This unique contrast is furthered through decoration choices such as Crystal chandeliers by Baccarat hanging alongside contemporary lighting fixtures.
The showroom’s façade matches the interior design. It was restored and decorated with mouldings and black shades stamped with the designer’s logo.
