The customer for this unique project was always drawn towards oriental aesthetic and deeply passionate about hammams. He made one his dream come true when ordering for an exceptional hammam complex to be built on his property.
For this project Shirine Zirak took inspiration from Persian, Turkish and Greek hammams.
The complex is made of a main circular room with a dome ceiling towering at eight meters and zenithal lighting. Small fountains and nooks can also be seen all around this space. Several purpose-built rooms surround the main area: a massage parlour, a tea house, a smoking room, a resting area and cloak rooms.
The noble and rare materials used to build the hammam create a warm and calm atmosphere. The twisted columns, vaulted ceilings, sculpted domes, inlaid marble and precious gems add sophistication to this bewitching space.
To recreate the sensations and characteristics of a traditional hammam (temperature regulation, controlled humidity, varied lighting) Shirine Zirak worked with the best craftsmen and engineers.
